Strong wind from Hurricane Earl blew the cab of Maxwell Corbett's truck into the guardrail of Tampa's 22nd Street causeway Thursday. The gust left part of the vehicle-with Corbett inside-dangling over McKay Bay, which opens into Hillsborough Bay. Another motorist helped Corbett, 60, out of the truck. "I was just holding on for life," he said. Tampa police Officer Mike Collins records information about the truck, which spilled about 150 gallons of diesel fuel into the water. The causeway was closed for about three hours.
